Nivo has announced the latest event in its AI webinar series, Where firms should start when planning an AI implementation, taking place on Wednesday 5 August at 2:00pm.
The free online session, which has been developed exclusively for mortgage brokers, will show where to start with AI and demonstrate a tool that addresses the specific case-handling pressures they face, removing around five hours of admin per case.
Nivo’s extensive research has found that document collection remains one of the most persistent drags on broker productivity. Gathering paperwork, checking it is complete, and chasing what is missing consumes hours on every case and is a common cause of delay between application and submission. The session addresses that problem directly, setting out how firms should assess where AI can realistically add value before committing to a project.
The 45-minute session will cover:
- How to identify the right processes to automate
- What to look for when assessing where AI can add value
- The common mistakes firms make, and how to avoid them
Attendees will also see a live demonstration of Nivo Collect, the firm's off-the-shelf AI case assistant. With Nivo Collect, brokers email in what they know about a client, and the service gathers every required document, cross-checks the evidence, chases whatever is missing, and returns a checked, ready-to-submit pack alongside a case report. It requires no installation and no integration project and has already shown to save firms around five hours of administration in every case.
The demonstration will follow a real mortgage case end to end, from the first email into the completed pack coming back, without manual intervention at any stage, and the session will close with a live audience Q&A. Further dates in the series will be announced over the coming weeks.
Registration is free and available here.
Matthew Elliott, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Nivo, said:
"Most brokers have been told they ought to be doing something with AI. Very few have been told where to begin. Our answer is to start where the work is most repetitive and the cost is easiest to measure, and for almost every firm that means document collection. Chasing paperwork doesn't win business and it doesn't improve advice – it just delays cases. That's the part worth handing over first.
“With Nivo Collect we've taken one of the biggest administrative burdens in mortgage broking and turned it into an off-the-shelf service that firms can switch on in hours. Your brokerage gets its own AI assistant, working in your brand, over the email process you already use. It gathers documents, checks them, chases what's missing and hands back a packaged case that's ready for submission. It’s a quick and easy way of realising the immediate benefits of AI within your business.”
