Stonebridge has released its 2026 Regional Roadshow dates and revealed where it will be taking its mini-conference tour of Britain this year.
The mortgage and protection network stages the huge Stonebridge National Conference each Spring but takes to the road in the Autumn for six roadshows where members can catch up on everything new in the industry at a location convenient to them.
This year the roadshow has booked stops in Waltham Abbey (16th Sep), Glasgow (23rd Sep), Bristol (29th Sep), Gatwick, (1st Oct), Derby (7th Oct) and, finally, Leeds (8th Oct).
Stonebridge is the second-largest mortgage and protection network by number of AR firms, so the roadshow attracts hundreds of members as it makes its way around the country.
Members get an information-packed briefing at some of the regions' best venues, spanning specialist seminars on traditional mortgages, protection and buy-to-let, as well as the chance to network with other ARs.
Speakers will send ARs away feeling right up-to-date with the latest trends, regulatory developments and industry know-how, after a period of great flux in the mortgage industry. Conflict in the Middle East has increased borrowing rates, a remortgaging wave is still flowing through advisers’ books after a feeding frenzy on low pandemic rates five years ago, the FCA has announced its determination to close the protection gap, and new adjustments to mortgage underwriting rules are in the pipeline.
Jo Carrasco, Business Partnerships Director at Stonebridge, said: “We know advisers are busy running their businesses, so it’s at this time of year we love to go to them.
“These roadshows are an important feature of our calendar because they give members the chance to catch up on the latest trends, regulations, and product news with a focus on delivery. Think of each roadshow as a mini-conference designed to deliver exactly the right amount of information that advisers can implement straight away.
“We’ve witnessed an enormous exchange of value in the past. Principals and advisers swap experience and best practice in a way that turns the whole event into a collaborative workshop, on top of all the new information we’re presenting to them. It’s a valuable investment by us as a network in our members, and it all feels incredibly entrepreneurial on the day. It’s so worth it.”
