Chetwood Bank has today announced it has recently opened a new London office in Tower 42 as the UK digital challenger bank continues to grow.

The move from its previous base at Eccleston Place follows a period of continued expansion for the Bank, which has achieved a £7 billion balance sheet. It has also recently announced the launch of its Wholesale Banking division, alongside the appointments of Alex Grove as Managing Director of Wholesale Banking, Toby Sharp as Director of Commercial Real Estate and Nirvan Sunderam as Managing Director of Wholesale Risk.

The new London office sits alongside the Bank’s offices in Fleet, Manchester and Wrexham, strengthening its footprint across the UK and giving the business a central City base as it enters its next phase of growth.

Chetwood Bank’s move to Tower 42 gives the business a London office in one of the City’s most recognisable buildings, positioning the bank just off Threadneedle Street, home to the Bank of England.

The new office provides a central location for colleagues and partners as the bank continues to build its capability across structured finance, commercial real estate and wider investment activity.

Paul Noble, CEO of Chetwood Bank, said: “Tower 42 is an iconic building in the heart of the City and gives us a London base that reflects the scale and ambition of Chetwood Bank today.

“As we enter the next phase of our journey, the new office gives us the right environment to support collaboration, deepen relationships and continue growing the business.”
