United Trust Bank (UTB) Asset Finance has appointed Kate Johnson as Regional Broker Manager with a focus on continuing to grow and develop the Bank’s successful High Value Car (HVC) business.

Kate has nearly 20 years’ experience in the motor sales and motor finance industries working with Hartwell PLC and MotoNovo Finance, amongst others. Most recently Kate was Senior Business Development Manager with JBR Capital where she spent the last 9 years funding a wide range of luxury, prestige, classic and supercars.

Kate’s appointment comes at an exciting time for UTB Asset Finance. Kate will join the AF Sales team and report to Astrid Michael, Sales & Marketing Director – Asset Finance, and work closely with Giles Hussey, Senior Underwriter and lead for UTB’s HVC deals.

Astrid Michael, Sales & Marketing Director - Asset Finance at United Trust Bank, said: "Kate joins us at an exciting time in the UTB Asset Finance story, and I’m delighted to welcome her to the Sales team. We’ve seen considerable growth in our High Value Car business over the last year and we’re keen to keep building on that momentum and cement our position as one of the leading specialist lenders in the space. Kate’s knowledge and experience combined with our fantastic underwriting capability will ensure we continue to pull away from our competitors.”

Kate Johnson, Regional Broker Manager -– Asset Finance at United Trust Bank, said: "I’m really excited to be joining UTB and bringing my passion for the motor industry to one of the strongest High Value Car propositions in the market. I love working with people who share my interest in beautiful and unusual cars and have the same commitment to delivering outstanding service to brokers and customers. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and relationships to UTB and starting the next chapter of my career with a business with the same passion and ambition.”
