The Tipton & Coseley Building Society is promising a better online experience for customers after redeveloping its website.
The site has a smart new look with cleaner page layouts, easy to navigate menus and accessible colour choices.
It also offers improved features, such as savings interest and mortgage affordability calculators, product finders and a decision in principle form. When applicants complete this form online, it gives the Tipton’s mortgage advisers all the information they need to check if the Society can lend to them.
The website serves direct customers, including both savers and borrowers, as well as professional mortgage brokers recommending the Tipton’s products to their clients.
Useful online information includes branch locations, opening hours, product details and a range of personal finance or financial wellbeing guides.
Becky Wheeler, the Tipton’s head of product and marketing, said: “Providing exceptional service is an essential part of our proposition. Through the redevelopment of the Society’s website, we aim to further improve our customer service by being easier to do business with.
“We’ve refreshed the design and created a function-rich website where it’s easier for users to access the information they need.
“Intermediary specific areas of our website have also been redeveloped to deliver a seamless experience for our professional customers.
“This is only a step in our digital roadmap, soon to be followed by some major changes we’re making behind the scenes to modernise our intermediary mortgage application process.”
The Tipton is an independent building society providing a range of mortgage products and savings accounts.
The Society has more than 37,000 members and operates four branches in the West Midlands in Tipton, Coseley, Bilston and Sedgley. Online savings are also available through the Tipton App.
