Paradigm, a leading provider of mortgage, protection, and compliance services, has today (30th January 2026) announced the promotion of Richard Howes to the newly-created role of Managing Director within its Paradigm Mortgage Services business, following a group wide review of operations including its distribution strategy.
In his new role Richard is charged with driving growth across the business, building on the strength of the existing partnerships with member firms, strategic partners and suppliers to help expand the Paradigm proposition to benefit all stakeholders.
Richard was previously Director of Mortgages, having joined Paradigm Mortgage Services in July 2021 from Santander for Intermediaries, where he led their Key Account Management functions.
Prior to this Richard worked in Santander subsidiaries’ James Hay and Cater Allen, after initially joining the Abbey Group of companies as Regional Manager for Scottish Mutual.
As part of the review, Paradigm has also launched a new Commercial function to strengthen collaboration between key partners.
