MT Finance Group successfully hosted its annual Charity Football Festival at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday 24 May in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity.
Now in its fifth year, the exclusive event brought together professionals from across the specialist lending industry, giving them the unique opportunity to play on the pitch at the home of the new Premier League champions. The football festival featured two competitive matches between teams made up of industry partners and concluded with an afternoon of hospitality and networking reception.
Beyond the games, the primary focus of the day was to raise vital funds for GOSH Charity to help provide life-changing care to seriously ill children and their families. To supercharge fundraising efforts, MT Finance pledged £200 for every goal scored, alongside a commitment to match donations made through the official JustGiving campaign page. Having set an initial funding goal of £12,000, MT Finance is delighted to have successfully exceeded its target by 20 per cent, with donations still coming in.
