Weybridge, UK – 12 March 2025 – The Mortgage & Protection Summit 2025, organised by Financial Reporter Events, brought together mortgage brokers, lenders, and industry professionals for a day focused on key market developments, regulatory changes, and professional learning. With nearly 100 brokers in attendance, the event provided CPD-accredited sessions designed to enhance industry knowledge and support brokers in navigating an evolving market.

Both discussions were moderated by Andrew Montlake from Coreco and AMI, covering topics such as affordability, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements.
A live poll conducted during the event assessed brokers’ understanding of Consumer Duty. The results indicated that 35% of attendees felt confident in their knowledge of the topic, while 10% did not. A further 55% expressed interest in additional learning opportunities, reinforcing the need for continued professional development within the sector.
In addition to panel discussions and presentations, the event featured an exhibition space, where lenders, insurers, and service providers showcased their latest products and solutions. This allowed brokers to explore tools and services designed to support their business growth and enhance client offerings.
