L&C Mortgages has just submitted its millionth mortgage application.
The millionth L&C application was submitted to Barclays last week and is a landmark moment that represents all the hard work from L&C colleagues over more than 25 years, working in conjunction with our lender partners.
L&C is celebrating this momentous milestone in a number of different ways:
1 million stories
We’re calling on customers to share their stories of how the advice they received has benefited their lives and those of their families over the years.
3 months mortgage payments paid
One story will win a lucky customer a prize, equivalent to 3 monthly mortgage payments.
1 million steps for charity
A team from L&C will participate in the Circuit of Bath walk with the aim of collectively hitting 1 million steps and raising funds for Julian House, a charity providing support to vulnerable people experiencing homelessness.
Mark Harrington, Chief Executive Office at L&C Mortgages said,
“We’re blown away to have hit one million applications and it’s testament to the hard work of our colleagues, both past and present, and our strong partnerships with lenders right across the market. All without charging a broker fee.
However, we’re acutely aware that the advice that L&C colleagues give to customers each day carries meaning far beyond the big numbers. It’s the impact that it has on those customers and their lives, whether it’s making homeownership a reality or by cutting the biggest monthly household bill by hundreds of pounds.
That’s why we want to celebrate the difference that our advice has already made to so many and how important each story is, as we look forward to helping many more on a fee free basis in the years to come.”
Commenting on receiving the millionth L&C application, Roland McCormack, Head of Intermediaries at Barclays, said:
“This incredible milestone demonstrates how strongly L&C’s approach has resonated in the market. I’m proud that Barclays has been a partner of L&C’s for over 25 years, a true testament to the deep relationships we build with intermediaries, and I’m excited to continue this journey together for many years to come.”
