Handelsbanken, has joined the lender panel of the Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB).
MAB advisers will now be able to access Handelsbanken’s product offering – as well as the expertise of their fully-decentralised branch network.
Handelsbanken, which has been independently confirmed as Europe’s safest commercial bank, is known not just for its financial strength and sustainable values, but also for its determined focus on delivering customer satisfaction. The bank offers banking and financial services to a whole range of diverse customers – from individuals to SMEs and large corporates.
The bank has a network of branches from Truro to Inverness, and prides itself on each one being fully embedded as part of the local economy. Meanwhile, its decentralised model means individual colleagues in each branch are empowered to make nearly all banking decisions.
This means customers do business with someone they know personally, and who understands their individual needs. This approach has been independently recognised as delivering the highest possible customer satisfaction, with the bank consistently rated top for relationships and account management by the CMA’s Quality Survey every year since it began.
Steve MacDonald, National Head of Intermediary Business for Handelsbanken, said: “We’re delighted to be able to become part of MAB’s lender panel. We’re looking forward to being able to work with a company that has shown such a commitment to delivering a bespoke service that fits the diverse needs of their clients – something which aligns very closely with our ethos. We believe our tailored mortgage solutions and commitment to meeting the high expectations of customers will be a great fit. MAB’s network of mortgage advisers can now source our entire product suite, giving them access to our full range of residential products, individual customer service, and local expertise.”
Rachel Geddes, Strategic Lender Relationship Director, Mortgage Advice Bureau, said: “Welcoming Handelsbanken to MAB's lender panel marks an important step in expanding the options available to our advisers. With more than 40 years in the UK market and a strong focus on building long-term relationships, Handelsbanken offers a unique proposition through its local branches and flexible lending solutions. Together, we share a commitment to helping more clients achieve their property goals, and we’re looking forward to developing this partnership for the benefit of brokers and homebuyers alike."
