Gen H has announced rate cuts across its high-LTV and New Build Boost products alongside a suite of year-to-date business performance records.

The rate reductions are as follows:

  • 85% LTV rates are down 40 bps
  • 90% LTV rates are down 10 bps
  • 95% LTV rates are down 10 bps
  • New Build Boost rate is down 10 bps to 6.44% for an effective rate of 5.42%

These rates are already available to brokers on Gen H’s panel.

Gen H also recorded strong business performance in July.

  • July was Gen H’s best month for applications in 2026, and its 5th best since the founding of the business in 2019
  • July was Gen H’s best month for offers since May 2024
  • Gen H also had its second best month for completions in 2026, the value of which increased 34% year over year

These performance bests reflect ongoing market demand, including from historically underserved borrowers. Two in three Gen H applications in July featured two or more areas of complexity, such as complex income or self-employment. This performance also speaks to efficiencies gained via recent improvements to Gen H's systems.

Recent launches of AI-powered document reviewers and packaging agents support both underwriters and brokers to work more efficiently, improving case packaging so that the number of ‘one-touch’ underwrites – where an underwriter offers a case in the same session they pick up the application – have doubled in recent months.

Sara Palmer, Sales and Distribution Director at Gen H, said, “2026 has been such a challenging year for our industry. Gen H’s performance shows the strategic benefit of investing in great systems and great people. People still want to buy homes, and we’re here to support our broker partners as they make those dreams come true.”
