Foundation Home Loans, the intermediary-only specialist lender, has today (5th January 2026) announced the appointment of Alan Davison as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Alan will join the Foundation Home Loans leadership team from January, moving from Afin Bank, where he also held the CCO role. Alan has over 25 years’ experience in financial services covering lending, sales and commercial strategy.
His previous roles included Distribution Director Personal Finance at Together and Head of Conduct & Customer Experience, Marketing at RBS, and he has a vast amount of experience across a wide remit of specialist lending business.
Foundation Home Loans said Alan’s appointment would support its growth ambitions in its core specialist buy to let and residential lending sectors, and ensure the lender had the strongest management team in place to drive future business levels and broker/client engagement.

Davison’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
