BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, part of leading financial and real estate advisory group BTG, has partnered with the National Landlord Investment Show (NLIS) to deliver the real estate event’s first live in-room auction at its London event in October.
With around 3,000 attendees expected at Old Billingsgate, the hybrid auction will combine live, in-person bidding with a Live Stream auction, enabling online, telephone and proxy bidders to participate and extending the event’s reach nationwide.
The in-room auction experience will give the experienced investors, landlords, developers and property professionals the opportunity to see how auctions have evolved in recent years, in addition to bidding on lots live at the event.
The auction will begin at 10am on 28 October 2026 and taking to the rostrum on the day are four auctioneers from the BTG Eddisons Property Auctions national team, Andrew Parker, Edward Feather, Richard Worrall and Lucy Crapper. The auction will be run alongside the full exhibition show, which is free to attend; all you need to do is register for your free ticket here.
Offering speed, transparency and greater certainty of sale, property auctions have continued to grow in popularity among both buyers and sellers. As one of the UK's largest auction providers, BTG Eddisons Property Auctions will use the event to showcase how auctions can be an effective route to market for sellers, while providing investors, developers and property professionals with opportunities to acquire assets and support future growth.
The in-person event marks day one of BTG Eddisons Property Auctions' October National Live Stream Auction, which has been expanded to two days in response to growing demand from buyers and sellers and an increasing volume of lots.
Under the BTG Eddisons Property Auctions banner and fully integrated into the wider BTG group for over half a year, the event will demonstrate how the auctions division has been innovating and leading as a key strategic tool within the wider financial and real estate group’s extensive range of services.
Andrew Parker, Managing Director of Property Auctions at BTG Eddisons, said:
“It is exciting to be working with NLIS to bring our Live Stream Auction to October’s London show. Following the success of our recent in-room auction event in Sheffield, this is another opportunity for attendees to see first-hand how property auctions operate and how they have evolved to connect buyers and sellers across the UK. With thousands of property professionals expected to attend, the event provides an ideal platform to showcase the benefits of the auction process, while giving attendees the opportunity to experience the atmosphere and excitement of live bidding.”
“Bringing together the human connection of an in-person showcase event with the latest in live stream auction technology, this event is a great opportunity for attendees to the event to see how auctions can be a strategic tool for their disposal or acquisitional goals.”
Steve Hanbury, Co-Founder at NLIS, said:
“We’re delighted to introduce a new element to our shows and provide our community of landlords, investors, developers and property professionals with the first-ever live auction at the show in partnership with BTG Eddisons Property Auctions. It is going to give our attendees great insight into the latest innovations in auctions while bringing some excitement of the in-room experience to the audience there in person.
“Auctions have fast become more and more popular, and with the latest advancements in live streaming and digital platforms, there are more opportunities than ever for buyers and sellers alike to get the most value, speed and transparency when managing their portfolios. The auction will run simultaneously alongside the full show day on 28 October, offering ample new opportunities and education for our attendees.”
