Accord Mortgages is cutting rates on both its residential and buy-to let product ranges again this week.

Effective from 8am tomorrow (Friday, 6 November 2026), the biggest discounts to the residential range apply to products for borrowers with the smallest deposit at 95% loan-to-value (LTV), which reduce by 0.18%. The same reduction will also apply to the lender’s innovative £5K Deposit Mortgage, specifically designed to offer first-time buyers with just a £5,000 deposit the chance to fulfil their home ownership dreams.

Rates also come down by 0.03% on five-year products at 65% LTV.

For landlords looking for a buy-to-let mortgage at 80% LTV, two-year rates reduce by up to 0.12%, with five-year rates dropping by as much as 0.09%.

The intermediary lender is also extending end dates to February on its buy-to-let range to maximise product term value for brokers and their clients.

Highlights of the range refresh for residential borrowers include:

  • A two-year fix at 6.15% (was 6.33%) for house purchase at 95% LTV, which comes with a £495 fee and standard valuation. This comes with an additional £500 cashback for first-time buyers
  • And a fee-free five-year fix at 6.34% (was 6.52%) for first-time buyers with a £5,000 deposit, which comes with standard valuation.

For landlords, highlights are:

  • A two-year fix at 5.79% (was 5.84%) for house purchase at 80% LTV, which comes with a £995 fee, £250 cashback and standard valuation
  • A two-year fixed rate at 5.77% (was 5.89%) for remortgaging at 80% LTV, which comes with a £995 fee, £250 cashback and standard valuation
  • And a five-year fixed rate at 5.66% (was 5.75%) for landlords remortgaging at 80% LTV, which comes with a £995 fee, £250 cashback and standard valuation.

Jeremy Duncombe, managing director of Accord Mortgages, said: “These latest rate cuts will help brokers to help their clients with a smaller deposit to take a step towards home ownership, while providing landlords with more competitive options when buying or remortgaging a buy-to-let property.”
