Accord Mortgages is cutting rates on its residential new business product range this week to offer better value to brokers and their clients.

Effective from 8am tomorrow (Tuesday, 6 October, 2026), the range refresh sees reductions of 0.10% applied to all of the intermediary-only lender’s fixed rate mortgage products available for new business.

This includes the lender’s £5K Deposit Mortgage, a unique product designed to enable borrowers to purchase a property valued up to £500,000 with just a £5,000 deposit, designed to help tackle one of the biggest challenges faced by first-time buyers – the ability to save a big enough deposit.

Highlights of the new range include:

  • A five-year fixed rate at 5.25% (was 5.35%) for remortgages at 65% LTV, which comes with a £1,495 fee, standard valuation and £500 cashback
  • A fee-free two-year fix at 5.90% (was 6.00%) for house purchasers at 90% LTV, which comes with £300 cashback and standard valuation
  • And a fee-free five-year fix at 6.78% (was 6.88%) for first time buyers with a £5,000 deposit, which comes with standard valuation.

Jeremy Duncombe, managing director of Accord Mortgages, said: “We’re delighted to be reducing rates across the range, including on our innovative £5K Deposit Mortgage, reaffirming our commitment to providing excellent value and helping brokers to support more aspiring homeowners to achieve their dreams.”
